SOMERSET-BASED BDR Logistics has ceased trading. with a liquidator due to be appointed.
A message on the Frome haulier's answerphone says: "BDR has ceased trading and steps are being taken to put the company into liquidation. An administrator has been appointed and will be writing to you shortly."
BDR was granted a licence in March 2009 by TC Sarah Bell, following a public inquiry that heard details of illegal operation of trucks after it took over the business and assets of sole trader Brian Da\m:1 Rayner.
BDR was run by Amanda Rayner, who resigned from the company in December last year, leaving directors Paul Ingram and Ivor Chalker.
