FERRYMASTERS Middle East is to extend its service with new overland/ro-ro service operating across Europe to th Mediterranean ports and then using ferries to Jordan.
The new service is said to provide shippers with mor reliability and faster transit times.
Overland journeys will be made to ports including Marseille and Venice where the vehicles and the company's contact wit Aqaba and soon on to Jeddah.
Ferrymasters says that the operation will be supported by th network of European offices and the company's contact wit the Saudi Arabian National Transport Company, all of whic will help to ensure close control.
The company will be using TIR 12 metre van trailers, fla platform trailers and 12 metre canopy trailers to carry on th service and Ferrymasters is exploring the possibility of usin container vehicles and equipment on the service.
