Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Do you know, this is a strange life? Sometimes very fulfilling, at other times very frustrating, but most of the time interesting. Thanks to you the readers we have never a dull moment.

Why do you read CM? know there's plenty of valuable information in our pages, indeed there's something for everyone, even the youngest apprentice, as I learned this week.

Getting a wee bit tired of their fleet engineer a group of tomorrow's fleet engineers sought the assistance of CM to get the message home. Every Friday before the boss got in to the office they took his copy of CM and circled the jobs for which they thought he was best suited in our situations vacant pages_ Particularly good salaries were underlined in blue.

Well, as I understand it, he didn't go for a new job but he did get the message. A very effective way of putting it over and less cruel than the American method of removing your carpet, hatstand, car space and telephone in succeeding weeks. I think it's something called hinting and just in case you hadn't noticed our sit vacs appear on p.84 this week. I'm told if you turn to page 84 it's a sign of insecurity Before applying for a job where the advertisement carries a box number there are two things which must be done. Read the job description with care and compare it with your own. If they are identical don't apply but take the hint!
