NEW 120-BUS GARAGE

ANEW depot of Birmingham Transport Department was opened on Tuesday by the Lord Mayor. It can accommodate about 120 vehic'es and has nine inspection pits. Planning for the depot began in 1939, when the ground was acquired. Building on the 3k-acre site started four years ago.
