• Tyneside Passenger Transport Executive has joined the growing number of undertakings to latch on to the idea of painting buses with all-over advertisements. A new Atlantean double-decker has entered service in a purple and pink colour scheme advertising a local amusement arcadeto-discotheque concern. The PTE hopes to have two more "advertising buses" on the road before long.
