Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

the Leyland Terrier ruck range replacing the oriinal 'full power' hydraulic ystem.

Leyland claims the new iyout has been introduced to rovide simpler and cheaper ervicing and to improve the eel' of the brakes. The hydraulic pump and pre-charged accumulators of the previous system are replaced by a compressor which feeds either two single or one split reservoir depending on the model.

The short wheelbase (2.9m or 9ft 6in) Terrier is fitted with two reservoirs. Other models carry a divided single unit. Total tank capacity on the swb model is 22.9 litres (1400cuin) and on the others, 20.5 litres (1250cuin).

Load-sensing valves are standard for the short wheelbase models and are offered as an option for the others.

Easier cab tilting is now offered for the Terrier with the standard specification of hydraulic assistance which Leyland claims makes it a oneman job. At 38° the angle of tilt is unchanged.

The cab is hydraulically powered up and then returned to the normal position under gravity.

Several of the design modifications from the turbocharged 6-98TV engine, first shown at Earls Court last year, have been passed on to the naturally aspirated version for Terrier and Boxer use.

These include increased ribbing along the length of the cylinder block, and larger bosses for the main bearing studs.

The wet-type cylinder liners now have a hard chrome finish on the outside to combat erosion.
