A wood chipping machine mounted on a 7.5-tonne 4x2 Daf 45 Turbo 150 has attracted more interest than the original trailer version. The Shredmaster 1400-1101 is produced by GreenMech in Warwickshire. A 110hp Isuzu engine powers the 1.4m disc rotor; it also has a forward-mounted hydraulic controlled slowing grab capable of lifting 300kg at its full 6m reach.
