Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Cheshire-based Frizell Haulage has bought the first GTS 48 heavy-duty step-frame plant carrier produced by King and shown at SED 2000.

The GTS 48 triaxle trailer is based on the GTS 44 design but carries an extra three tonne payload, totalling 38.75 tonnes at Category 2. Frizell's example features the optional folding mantis ramps to give a loading angle of just 90 rather than the standard 12.75°. The hydraulically powered sliding ramps offer extra width of 455mm to suit abnormal loads.

The deck is 896mm from the road; the trailer is fitted with a lifting rear axle.

The GTS 48 will be hauled by a new 6x4 Foden Alpha capable of working at 65 tonnes.
