Fast-growing Swift Transport Services of Northampton romped home in this category with its bold new black and red livery. The award recognises the simplicity and power of Swift's eyecatching design and the restraint with which it has been applied.
The St Ivel Gold artic commended in class three also presented a memorable self-adhesive livery for the judges to consider. Swift won through, however, because it conveyed urgency and strong dependability — vital qualities in the dedicated distribution market where the company competes.
