• AD faylor, company formed to take over the business of West Midland international haulier Adrian Taylor, has dropped an application for a licence for six vehicles and trailers.
The licensing hearing had twice been adjourned by West Midland Licensing Authority John Mervyn Pugh in February (CM 9-15 February) and in March.
When the case again came before the LA, at a Birmingham public inquiry on 12 September, Mervyn Pugh was told that the application was being withdrawn.
