• Crosville Wales, the Welsh subsidiary of National Express, is introducing 29 additional minibuses into Clwyd on a major conversion of the Rhyl to Chester corridor.
Eleven of the new minis are Mercedes 709Ds with Reeve Burgess Beaver 25-seat bodies. They replace conventional buses, which will be held in reserve.
CW's minibus fleet is now over 300, making it one of the largest minibus operators in the country. Its neighbour and former joint operator, Crosville of Chester, is continuing with its double-deckers and now competes on the Rhyl route.
