• Two Leyland Daf dealers in the South-West have gone into liquidation. Exeter Truck Centre and Tamar (Plymouth) will now be handled by Wessex Leyland Daf (Newton Abbott), which is expandng its operation. Parts and servicing for light trucks and vans will be dealt with by TH Cawsey Commercial.
Exeter Truck centre went into receivership on 16 August. They specialised in light trucks and vans.
Tamar is making 25 workers redundant and redeploying seven at its sister company Aliens, also in Plymouth.
