IN Hundreds of British truck drivers were stuck in a 24km tailback when Italian lorry drivers blocked the Brenner Pass motorway last week. The fourday blockade followed a dispute over transport permits.
The Road Haulage Association says an estimated 20,000 lorries were caught in the tailback.
