I Blue Circle is being forced to continue operating in London vith temporary permits, despite winning its appeal against the nandatory fitting of air brake silencers under condition 11 of the .ondon Lorry Ban.
The cement company succeeded in its appeal to the Indepenlent Appeals Advisory Panel last week, but has been told it will lave to use temporary permits until the results of the appeal are card by the London Boroughs Transport Committee on 3 October.
Blue Circle was the first company in 11 appeals to win its case.
