Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PARCELS CARRIER TNT is spending £2 million installing a computer system to link all its 28 depots to the company's computer centre in Birmingham.

Each depot now has a computer link which will be phased in over the next two years, starting with administrative roles such as revenue analysis and customers' consignment history.

The major step will be completed a year from now when the individual consignment details will be fed in.

As collection and delivery vehicles return to the depot at the end of each day consign

talent details will be keyed in and may be retrieved instantly by any depot.

Earlier planning will be possible as the delivery depot can obtain information about the following day's work by 8pm. Customer inquiries and requests for proof of delivery can also be obtained quickly via the computer.

Another development, intended for introduction "within the next two years-, entails giving or leasing a terminal to the customer so that he can request collection of parcels without needing to phone the TNT depot.
