Mr Green joined Thompson Trailmobile in 1965 and two years later moved to Crane Fruehauf as international sales director of Crane Fruehauf ConMr W. I. Green tainers Ltd.

George King, 44, director of BLMC truck and bus manufacturing, has been appointed to the new post of director of manufacturing controls. He also takes charge of traffic and delivery services.

G. D. Morton, deputy chairman of Freight Bonallack becomes, chief executive in succession to D. R. Peters who has resigned from his position as managing director of Freight Bonallack Ltd and his membership of the board of Alcan Booth Industries to take up a new post outside the Alcan Group.

Phil Ives moves up from general manager of Ailsa Trucks Ltd to deputy managing director and joins the board. Before joining Ailsa Trucks in 1972 he was British Leyland truck and bus division truck marketing manager.

OBITUARY We record with regret the death of Jeffery Pearson.
