TIR Training Services, based in Beverley, East Yorkshire. is a logistics and dryer training business that counts MKM, DSV, DFDS Transport, and Allied Mills as its customers.
As a JAUPT-approved training company, it provides courses for licence acquisition, Driver CPC, driver training, NVQ/apprentice, and management courses for national and international CPC.
Last year it delivered more than 1,000 NVQ qualifications in the transport industry and launched the initiative CPC4-', which is a membership programme to help transport companies deliver the Driver CPC periodic training to their drivers. TIR offers 16 courses that qualify for Driver CPC periodic training. The company was acquired in 2006 by the Def log VC) Trust, an educational charitable trust that provides logistics training to the military.
