Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Colt Cars have given Pem Trailers of Bournemouth exclusive approval to fit their dropside and box body range to the Canter chassis cab expected to be available in the late spring of 1978.

In its standard form it is powered by a diesel engine producing 58kW (78bhp) at 3,700 rpm and drives through a fivespeed box to a fully floating single-reduction rear axle.

A petrol version will also be available producing 83.5kW (112bhp) at 5,000 rpm driving through a four-speed box.

Braking power is produced via split front to rear hydraulic system with vacuum-servo assistance.

The long 3.14m (loft 4in) wheelbase model fitted with a Luton body will provide a cargo capacity of 18.7cum (667cuft) while the tipper version of the dropside body equipped with lifting arms is thought to be too bulky for the shorter 2.5m (8ft 21/Sin) model.

A spokesman for Pem Trailers said that the existing range of bodies made at Bournemouth needed only a few minor alterations to the mountings to suit the Canter chassis.

Colt plans to market the Canter range through those dealers in its existing network who already have commercial vehicle outlets.
