INQUIRY INTO WORKERS' SERVICES

DIFFICULTIES of carrying workers between their homes and places of employment on Tees-side are to be discussed by a working party appointed at Middlesbrough, last week, by a conference of, the Tees-side Industrial Development Board.

A spokesman at the conference suggested the formation of a central bus pool by both municipal and company bus undertakings.

Mr. C. E. Parr, clerk to the Tees-Side Railless Traction Board, said that workers' specials were losing the Board about £1,000 each.
