THE 2014 CV Show is almost sold out, with less than six months to go before the event takes place at the NEC in Birmingham between 29 April and 1 May.
There is only 6% of space left in halls 3A, 4 and 5 and 290 exhibitors have already booked. Organisers said the level of interest indicated that "business is definitely on the up" for the UK road freight industry and its ancillary providers.
While exhibitor numbers are up 26% on the same time for last year's show, actual space occupied is 17% greater — reflecting the return of smaller exhibitors to the show for the first time since 2008.
Vehicle manufacturers will also be well represented, with Fiat, Ford, Isuzu, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Renault, and Vauxhall all booking stands.
Body and trailer builders will also be there in numbers, including Cartwright, Lawrence David, Montracon, SD C Trailers, SOMI Trailers and Whale Tankers.
The Cool Pavilion has also proved popular with exhibitors.
