Spoilt for choice with two Axor curtainsiders

Welcome to Laurie Dealer's used truck of the week. Each week our man inside the used truck trade picks out a truck or trailer from CM's online classified list. This week there are two Mercedes-Benz Axor trucks

Laurie Dealer has found you two 2007-registered Mercedes-Benz Axor 1824 trucks with curtainsided bodies and tail-lifts.

Their 6.4-litre Euro-4 engines deliver 240hp and 850Nm at 1,200rpm-1,600rpm torque — and they each have a sleeper cab.

One truck has 342,000km and the other 369,000km on the clock. The trucks are priced at £16,250 (plus VAT) each.

The popularity of the 18-tonne Axor is widely reflected in the used truck market, with plenty to choose from and there is a strong, loyal following that ensures demand. When these trucks crop up there is usually a ready market for them and the reason is simple: they combine desirability with a strong build quality to provide an unassuming truck that is about as idiot-proof to drive and operate

as you can hope to find.

The vehicles are being sold by DH Commercials (Leasing) in Hartlebury, Worcestershire.
