rivers at confectioner Trebor Bassett have been supplied with a distinctive new uniform, carefully designed to provide a smart image when meeting customers and to reinforce brand awareness. The allover body suit with its blue hat, pink face and black and white hooped torso has safety advantages too—who could fail to see such a big softy? One more thing: from now on all the drivers will be renamed Bertie Bassett to reinforce the company's image. On hand to welcome the transformation were Sarah Sutton, Trebor Bassett's transport operations manager and Simon Bird, contract sales manager for Lex Transfleet which, by chance, has just supplied TB with 14 Leyland Daf 17-tonners as part of a replacement programme.
