LEYLAND TRUCKS has announced a scheduled maintenance pro gramme designed to eliminate "over-servicing" and to more closeir relate a vehicle's servicing needs to its type of operation and to it annual mileage.

Called Service Masterplan, this new approach to service periods and procedures is claimed to improve vehicle utilisation and reduce service time. It is offered as part of the Ley land Co-Driver operator suppor and has been designed to cove virtually all Leyland lorries: The programme is based oi three colour coded worksheets routine servicing (heavy lorries: routine servicing (light/medium and inspection (all service where the cost of the scheme i simply the cost of the workshee (£2.25 per 100).
