BEARING the title " Municipal Tank Wagons for Emptying Gullies and Cesspools," and described as "a review of the Dennis motor appliances incorporating tank bodies for the above duties, and other services associated with _them," a new booklet has just been published by Dennis Bros., Ltd., Guildford..
It opens-with a foreword addressed to " the new committee member " in which the object of the book is outlined and the underlying idea of the multi-purpose single vehicle is introduced. Then follow succinct explanations of the many important municipal functions the Dennis outfit, forming the main subject of the book, can perform. Each function is illustrated with a number of pictures of the respective operations being carried out. In this part there are altogether 19 views.
The remainder, which is more than half the total of 44 pages, is devoted to a review of the outstanding and, in some eases, distinctive features of the appliances, their advantages betnga pointed out' in a straightforward tech. nical manner. It also includes inforina. tive specifications of the 750-gallon models and a long list of users.
