has been convicted of two road rage incidents has been fined the equivalent of two-and-a-half weeks wages.

Kenneth MacPherson, 44, pleaded guilty at Fort William sheriffs court to two charges of breaching the peace while driving for local firm Kinlochleven Road Transport.

MacPherson was fined £500 by the sheriff, Colin MacKay, who warned: "I'd get a grip on your temper if you want to continue driving. There might be motoring charges as well next time. You are putting your livelihood at risk."

One incident involved MacPherson climbing out of his 38-tonner to threaten a driver of a timber lorry when they became jammed on a narrow road in the area. The other involved MacPherson abusing a car driver who was stuck in front of him behind a farmer herding his sheep.

Both drivers complained to Kinlochleven Road Transport about MacPherson's behaviour.
