Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• I have just been given some back issues of CM and was particularly interested in your features on wheel losses.

I was a lorry driver many years ago and have no hesitation in stating that wheel loss on the nearside will continue as long as right-hand thread nuts are used, regardless of tightening torques.

An article you included on Sketchley Services

mentions a manufacturer's recommendation of 4501bft. That is a ridiculous figure — no studs or nuts can stand that force for long.

Left-hand thread, which we all had years ago without any bother, is the ONLY answer and I don't care who in the EC says differently.
