• The Government's commitment to deregulating London Buses was re-confirmed last week when it announced a working party to advise on the practical aspects of implementing" the changes. It follows the surprise omission from the Queen's Speech of the legislative proposals, which previous transport ministers had promised early in the new Parliament.
