Russian manufacturer of medium trucks, to investigate an industrial and marketing arrangement for truck diesel engines and fuel systems. ZIL produces 200,000 trucks a year, mainly with petrol engines. The move follows Cat's deal with rival engine-builder Cummins and Kamaz announced late last year.
