WE were very interested to read Graham Montgomerie's penetrating article on trailer conversions in your April 23 issue. There is, however, one area we would like to clarify and that is the reference to the point that virtually no hauliers are fitting antilock brakes. In fact thi: only applies to the retrofit market since all the CF trailers have had Lucas Girling Antilock braking fitted as standard since the October 1, 1982, and this system has been extremely well accepted in the market place.
