IAN DALLISON has been re-elected president of the Freight Transport Association for 1983/84, his second year in office. He is inland transport manager for the British Steel Corporation and chairman of the national executive board of the FTA.
Vice-chairman is Dennis Hutchings of Thorn EMI, and treasurer is Len Payne, distribution director of J. Sainsbury, and 1980-82 FTA president.
A new member of the board is Mike Jones of D. B. Marshall (Newbridge).
Other executive board members include Charles Lynam of Servis sales and marketing, Bryan Mellor of Kassero Foods, Fraser Menzies of Reckitt and Colman, and Alan West of UB Distribution Services.
