to a seaside resort, invariably asks me for recompense for parking charges though he produces no receipt for this expenditure. I am of the opinion that my coach is parked on the street and that my driver does not, in fact, incur the parking charge which he claims. How should I deal with this matter in view of the fact that vehicle owners are now liable for fines imposed for indiscriminate parking ?

You should issue a notice to all your drivers, not just the one you suspect of following the practice outlined, drawing their attention to the necessity to park your coaches in a properly constituted coach park and not in the street. You should further inform them that parking charges will be reimbursed only on production of a receipt.
