Stolen vehicles trailed in Europe

AN ex police officer Mr F. Topham, left London last Friday to travel to Tehran in search of stolen and abandoned vehicles.
He is employed by Barking Investigations Ltd, a subsidiary of Barking Garage and Engineering Co Ltd, which has been hiring vehicles to owner-drivers for Middle East traffic for the past three years.
Mr Topham's trip began producing results on Saturday when he found a Scania abandoned with a loaded York trailer (chassis number is NBR 3311034) at Sonneberg in Germany.
The next day he found another trailer (number NBR 170459E) on the Austrian border at Balserberg.
