This new mobile restaurant, named "The Upper Crust", was launched by J. Lyons and Co Ltd, on Wednesday.
Designed for company use, it consists of a 24-seat upper saloon restaurant serving a four-course meal from kitchens on the lower deck, and has special viewing windows in the rebuilt top deck. Based on an MCWbodied Leyland Atlantean coach, and painted in LT red, the conversion was undertaken by J. H. Sparshatt and Sons Ltd.
