Hodgson. chairman of the North Western Traffic •Commissioners, on behalf of Ribble Motor Services Ltd. Built on the same site as a former station, and occupying the same area of less than half an acre, its covered platform is more than three times the size of the original. The new structure includes the district administrative offices, mostly at irst-floor level, which were previously on the apposite side of Union Street, where the ',cation is situated.
