THE Traders Road Transport Association has embarked on a scheme for full-time administration in Scotland, centred on new divisional offices at 139 Bath Street, Glasgow. Mr. J. 0. Hastie, who has done sterling work as divisional secretary, while remaining a partner in a law firm, has been replaced by a full-time secretary, Mr. J. Welch, AMInstT. who was formerly with the National Dock Labour Board. Aged 32, he is a native of Fife.
There will also be Scottish area offices of the TRTA at Aberdeen and Dundee. while the area activities of Central Scotland, Edinburgh and Glasgow will come under the new divisional office.
