International Haulage Meeting: The Eastern area of the RHA will hold a special meeting on international transport at the Alexandra Restaurant. Felixstowe, at 7.30 p.m. on May 25. The meeting will be addressed hy Mr. R. H. lnsoll, RHA executive secretary, who will give advice on Continental road transport operation. There will also be a film show on the roll-on/roll-off facilities provided by the Transport Ferry Service. Long TIR : The first 33 ft. two-deck tiltcovered TIR semi-trailer to be operated by Channel Road Services Ltd. (the Hays Wharf company) left London on Wednesday with 20 tons of Potterton boilers destined for Paris. it is the first of a batch of York special two-deckers for the company.
