made of mobile projection units for entertainment, training and educational purposes in the armed forces. A vehicle of this kind has recently been supplied by Dagenham Motors, Ltd., 8, Balderton Street, London, W.I. The bodywork was built by Marshall Motor Bodies, Ltd., Airport Works, Cambridge.

It is entirely self-contained and has been fitted out for the daylight projection of 35 mm. films. Body and cab are of integral construction, with accommodation for the driver and a passenger in the cab, with a third seat inside the body. A translucent screen is used, and the sound-projection equip. ment is installed at the forward end of the body.

Current supplies can be taken either from the mains, or from generator units carried on the vehicle. Asbestos blankets and foam extinguishers, in addition to a Pyrene automatic extinguisher on the projector, form part of the equipment.

Efficient ventilation is provided by an electric fan, in conjunction with lightscreened inlets and outlets. The organization responsible for these mobile units is the Army Kinema Corporation.
