Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE ROW over Ulsterbus plans to employ women as bus drivers has ended with a new deal on pay and conditions.

Two TGWU shop stewards at Belfast's Smithfield depot — Mr Robert Kirk and Mr Edmund Burns — who led the opposition to women drivers, said: "We are now prepared to accept them under the terms of our new agreement."

The new agreement, which provides for a massive 28 per cent overall pay rise for the company's 1,200 employees, becomes effective on March 31.
