APPLEBY remains vice-chairman. The Peterborough Area have re-elected MR. L. W. BUGG as their chairman, with MR. E. BLAN-fERN continuing in the office of vice-chairman.

MR. EDWARD J. PARSONS has been appointed sales manager of the friction materials division of Small and Parkes, Ltd. He is replaced as London sales manager by MR. W. A. PARKES, MR. HAROLD Hickura, works manager, is to retire on April 1 after more than 50 years with the company. MR. W. L. VARTY has been appointed textiles works manager.

MR. H. G. FUCKS, formerly production manager at the Basildon works of BonaIlack and Sons, Ltd., has been appointed West of England representative for the company.
