NEWSPAPER WHOLESALERS GET B LICENCE ACOMPANY of newspaper wholesalers, E. D. Walker and Wilson, Ltd., Darlington, was last week granted a B licence for two vehicles at present operating on contract-A licence to the Northern Circulation Management Committee.

For the applicants, Mr. C. A. Hinks said they had been carrying newspapers to Sunderland since November, but had been unable to do any other work, so two vehicles had had to be kept at Sunderland. Mr. J. A. T. Hanlon, Northern Licensing Authority, granted the application.

LORRY DRIVER COMPETITION
