• Volvo has completed a global restructuring of its finance operation—in the UK, it is known as VFS Financial Services (UK), but will trade as Volvo Financial Services. It will also operate as BRS Solutions for multi-marque contract hire and fleet management services.
A team comprising a national sales manager and four territory managers will operate under VFS MD, Brian Dumbill. The restructuring is designed to suit the marketing of financial services beyond the sale of Volvo manufactured products.
• Westward Commercials, the Volvo truck and bus dealer for Wales and South West England, has gone into administrative receivership—its business has been bought by Volvo Truck and Bus South.
VTB South, Volvo's wholly owned distributor group, will operate the acquisition as its Vales and West region.
