• The London Community Transport Association is to launch a Minibus safety charter.
Proposed safety measures include a national accident reporting system; defensive driving courses for minibus drivers; C8zU reg amendments to ensure that gangways are kept clear at all times; improved fire retardancy standards; a specific driving test for minibuses, whether PSV or non-PSV; and an end to side-facing seats.
