• Burtons of Brixham, a subsidiary of Transit Holdings, has introduced a new highfrequency route between Brixham, Paignton and Torquay, called the Riviera Connection.
It will be operated by a fleet of 12 Carlyle-bodied 33-seat Mercedes 811Ds painted blue and white, which will run every 10 minutes.
Transit Holdings, Harry Blurtdred's company whose subsidiaries run services in Devon, Oxfordshire and London, has invested £500,000 in reequipping the Burton fleet.
