• Dutch group United Bus and Den Oudsten, one of the leading bus bodybuilders in Holland, are planning to merge.
The deal will give United Bus a 6% market share in Western Europe.
Neither Den Oudsten's Canadian subsidiary, New Flyer, nor its special projects design company, Den Oudsten Specials are involved. United Bus was formed last year when the bus activities of Daf in Eindhoven and Bova in Valkenswaard were consolidated. Optare recently joined the Dutch bodybuilder group.
