Contract extended
• Railfreight Distribution has won a five year extension to its 210m contract with Ford of Britain. It transports components between Ford plants at Dagenham, Halewood, Swansea and Bridgend.
Open for business
• TIP Europe's German subsidiary company, Transport International Pool, has opened for business in Saiwerin, East Germany.
