TOLL TICKET REDUCTIONS • Transport operators using the Grand St Bernard tunnel between Switzerland and Italy, in addition to being able to purchase 20-crossing tickets, can now purchase 10crossing tickets valid for one year, with a 30% reduction on the normal toll.
According to the International Road Transport Union (IRLI) the halo-Swiss Grand St Bernard Tunnel operating company (SISEX), in addition to the savings announced above, will increase the bonuses for "faithful! customers'', based on the total purchase price of multiple-crossing tickets and issued at the end of each year, as follows: from Sw.Fr. 4,000 to Sw.Fr. 10,000 — two free tickets; from Sw. Fr. 10,000 to 20,000 — three free tickets; from Sw.Fr. 20,000 to 40,000 — four free tickets; from Sw. Fr. 40,000 to 100,000 — five free tickets; and in excess of Sw.Fr. 100,000 — six free tickets.
