Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A BRAND new Seddon psv chassis is under development for announcement at the Commercial Motor Show in 1976. Until then, however, the company is adopting a "low profile" approach to the passenger market. Not only will there be no passenger exhibits at this year's Earls Court show but the company has announced that it is to stop building psv bodies when its current orders are completed, probably next spring.

There will be no Pennine Coachcraft stand at the Show and the Pennine works is to go over to building goods vehicles bodies, including tippers and boxvans. Apart from export models Seddon's current psv output is limited to its Midibus, RU single-decker and the new mid-engined Pennine IIV. Production of this last vehicle is expected to continue but shortage of Gardner engines is likely to limit its sales to the Scottish Bus Group for whom it was originally specified.
