WINSTON WRIGHT has been appointed general manager, Assembly Division, Volvo Trucks (Great Britain). He has responsibility for all engineering development together with truck and bus building operations at the Irvine plant.

Mr Wright joined the organisatin as engineering manager in 1974; since 1975 he has held the position of chief engineer and from early 1983 has been chief engineer acting general manager.
