COACH drivers have been advised to steer clear of Westminster Abbey on Tuesday, August 1.
A service for Anglican bishops — part of the Lambeth Conference — is likely to attract a demonstration and the Abbey will be closed from 11 am until 5 pm.
Normal pick-up and setting-down points will be suspended, and a Metropolitan Police spokesman told CM that he would prefer if coaches avoided the area altogether that day.
