Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

short and sweet

FRY TRANSPORT WILL be wound up via a creditors' voluntary liquidation after failing to find anyone willing to buy the Co. Antrim business as a going concern, just seven months after it became a limited company The directors say the economic downturn resulted in it being unable to secure shipping and fuel services in order to keep the company ticking over.

A last-ditch attempt was made to find a buyer, but after taking professional advice, it decided to wind up the business. The directors say this will allow its former staff to make claims to the Redundancy Payments Service. A statement from the company says: -The directors and their advisers have had discussions with a number of interested parties, and although interest has been expressed in acquiring specific assets of the business, none of the parties have expressed an interest in acquiring a part or all of the business as a going concern."

It adds: "Arrangements have been made with the company's customers and other haulage firms to meet customers' needs."

Fry Transport was incorporated at Companies House in June of last year.

Director Samuel Fry declined to comment.
